Composition

The active substances are paracetamol, ascorbic acid and chlorpheniramine maleate. One envelope contains paracetamol 500 mg, ascorbic acid 200 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg. The other components are: sugar, anhydrous citric acid, sodium saccharin, lemon flavor.

Therapeutic indications

Does Faringo Hot Drink belong to the group of drugs called analgesics? antipyretics.

Faringo Hot Drink is a medicine against cold and flu, which contains three active substances:

Paracetamol that relieves pain and reduces temperature when you have a fever;
Chlorpheniramine maleate reduces nasal congestion, watery eyes, often associated with the above and acts on sneezing-type phenomena.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) will help replace vitamin C that is lost in the first stages of colds and flu.
Faringo Hot Drink is a remedy used for the short-term symptomatic relief of flu, febrile conditions, chills and common colds, including headache, sore throat, discomfort and pain, nasal congestion, sinusitis as well as acute nasal pain and catarrh, associated with it.

The medicine is intended for use by adults and adolescents older than 15 years.

If after 5 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you must contact a doctor.

Contraindications/Warnings

before taking Faringo Hot Drink, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you suffer from kidney or liver diseases
If you suffer from heart disease, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal diseases or epilepsy
If you have pre-existing liver diseases, it is necessary to monitor liver functions in the case of long-term treatment with high doses
If you have Gilbert's syndrome (mild jaundice)
If you regularly consume large amounts of ethyl alcohol
If you are dehydrated or have nutritional disorders, for example caused by anorexia or poor nutrition
If you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (enzyme deficiency)
If you have hemolytic anemia (abnormal destruction of red blood cells)
If you have bronchial asthma and hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid
If you have a fever, even after a treatment with paracetamol
Doses and method of administration

Always use exactly as your doctor has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and adolescents over 15 years old

One packet of Faringo Hot Drink 2-3 times a day. The interval between administrations must be at least 4 hours. If you suffer from severe kidney damage, the interval between administrations must be at least 8 hours. Dissolve the contents of a packet of Faringo Hot Drink in a cup of hot water (approximately 200 ml). A lemon-flavored drink is obtained that is drunk hot. Do not dissolve or administer more than one sachet at a time.

For the treatment of flu conditions, it is preferable to take this medicine with hot water, in the evening, from the moment the first symptoms appear.

Special warnings

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations before taking this medicine.

Driving vehicles and using machines

Due to the adverse reactions it causes (for example drowsiness, sedation, confusion, dizziness, visual accommodation disorders, etc.), Faringo Hot Drink can influence the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
